Hi my name is Megan and i am not much of a writer but will do my best!! Every time i get a piercing it is always a spur of the moment thing. I have had my nose done twice ( the second time i did it myself ) and i had been thinking about getting something else done for a while. Yesterday i went over to another town to get some new sunglasses and saw a brand new body piecing shop. well since i had money in my pocket and a whole bunch of body parts without holes i decided to take a look ( there is a tattoo and body piercing shop in the town i live in but the guy that does the piercing is a big fat slob that i wouldn't let touch me with a ten foot pole!! ). i was really impressed with what i saw and the peircer is a lady so that was a bonus. i had seen pictures of conch peircings on the internet a week or so before and it was a toss up between a labret and that. well the conch won over the labret cause i dont know if i would like something rubbing against my teeth all the time... anyways i had to wait for half an hour for the barbell to be sterilized so my adreniline rush kinda faltered in that time. Finally im sittin on the stool looking at the needles that were gonna be put through my ear..they were pretty big ( im not sure of the gauge though ). i got myself prepared and then she started with the first hole on the top of my ear. she pushed once and it didn't go all the way through so she had to give it a second push....it wasn't to bad just the sound of the cartilage being pushed out was a little gross. it felt like a real good pinch and after it burned. so now with that one done it was time for the second hole. this one hurt less but when the barbell went throught that hole it hurt!! no question about that!! it was the most painful part. it didn't bleed at all and so far i have had no crusties on it at all although it did bleed a little during the night. Because the holes are in kindof a hard spot to get at it is a little difficult to clean but it is worth it!! i like it a lot and i dont regret doin it at all. the way i see it is that if u really want to get a piercing done the little bit of pain is worth it!
