I'd got into body piercing about 5 years ago when I was in school..somehow ear piercings weren't enough so I got my navel done, then my clit, then my nose and still wasn't satisfied.
I stumbled across a piercing shop in Parramatta (Sydney Australia) and thought about a new piercing. I contemplated it for weeks, saved up the money then made an appointment.
I had to wait for some teenage chick deciding on what colour ring to put in her navel...sheesh!! But finally a guy called me in and I got that familiar adrenilin rush. i was a little worried about the stories I'd heard of nerves getting crushed during eyebrow piercings and leaving your face paralised but this guy explained everything to me and I had total confidance in him. I even admired his piercings across the bridge of his nose and pondered getting one of those too!
He drew on a dot where the ring would go to see if I liked the position...I did so he steralised the area and the ring. He held the skin in a pair of forcep things and pushed the needle through. the was a mirror in which I could watch it all and the size of the needle was pretty daunting but it honestly hurt less than any piercing I've had done.
He had a little trouble getting the bead on the ring and I bled a tiny bit but other than that it was totally hassle free. It throbbed a little but I didn't notice any serious pain, it's easy to keep clean. I did have the ring ripped out 3 weeks later and it bled but the ring was easy to put back in. Just remember..if you do get your eyebrow pierced..don't go play-fighting your boyfriend and not expect to have your new piercing ripped out!:)
