The story of my eyebrow.
I got my eyebrow pierced in october of 02. I went in, marked the spots and the guy did a fairly decent job, though I wasn't too pleased with the actual position cuz he was off a little. AAAlright, so I go home with the medication and instructions with my hoop in my eyebrow, I loved it, though it was slightly crooked and was planning for my next piercing. Well, it so happnes the damn hoop gets stuck everywhere DO NOT GET A HOOP FOR YOUR INITIAL PIERCING JEWELRY. A week ago, during my sleep, I ripped it from my eye. Yea, piece of crap eyebrow ring is gone now. I can't help but be angry at myself, now I have a big 'ol scar on my eyebrow and gotta wait for it to heal before I can get it repierced. Some suggestions for those who are going to get one.
Make suuure your piercing artist knows he CANT DO WHATEVER THE FUCK HE WANTS. Tell them straight-up thats this is the way you want it, and thats the way its gonna be done.
Dont get a hoop. I did, and it was a huuuge mistake. Get the barbell for starters, it wont tear.
The piercing itself doesn't hurt..at all. Just realx and breath deeply.
When you clean it, dont rub at it. dab gently, rubbing will cause it to shift..the actual ring will move from its origional position. Anther first-hand expereince.
Its a great piercing, just needs lots and lots of care during the healing process. And two months is bullshit. It takes much longer to actually heal.
