I got my eyebrow done on a Saturday afternoon and was scared but I really wanted to do this and I knew I would have alot of people look down on it but Im an adult and make my own choices so I made the decision to do it. My girlfriend and husband went with and they were wanting to see how it was done and I think to see if I would chicken out.
I never was scared of needles so I guess it was just how much pain I could put up with, I do have a good tolerence for pain so here I went. The guy who was doing it was supposed to be good and I had went twice already to his shop for tattoos so I felt comforatable there.
He gets everything set up and I watched to make sure everything was sterile and I knew he was following everything in the book the way it was suppossed to be done. He gets the clamp on and I did see the needle but quickly looked away for I ddint want to get distracted to much, I look in the corner and there stands my husband and best girlfriend looking so scared and I looked up to the cieling to focus on something different so I wouldnt have to see there scared faces sqirming. He gets ready to push the needle thru and I asked him will this bleed much and I knew it was a little to late for that question because he had already pushed the needle thru and I thought at that moment there was know turning back.
I also thought boy this wasnt as bad as getting the tattoos so it was smooth sailing, he got the earring in place and said thats it and I was glad it was over. I looked at it all the way home and was really glad I made the choice to get, my one son who is twenty was not happy but like I told him I make my own choices like he does and I have to do what makes me happy and that was what I wanted.
It wasnt 3 days later I started to get an infection and I did keep it clean and was careful how I took care of it for those few days I ahd it. I ended up going to the doctor and she had to take it out and put me on antibiotics and it has all healed but I made the decision to get it done again and try it one more time and hope that this time it takes so wish me luck and hope anyone out there that is tinkering about getting one go for it cause if you dont care for it later on you can always take it out and let it heal shut and at least you could say I did it and enjoyed as long as I wanted.
