I'm not a big person on pain, or needles, but i really like piercings and tattoos. I would go to concerts, or see people around town that have a industrial piercing, so i decided i wated to get it done. I talked to my Mom about it, and she was fine with it, probably because she didnt really know what it looked like. since I was only 15, I had my step dad go with me, he paid for it, so it was worth it. I also had my friend go with me, and she watched it. i started to get scared when I saw the bar, that would soon be in my ear. So many people say it hurts really bad or they cried, but to me it only felt like a pinch, it burned afterwards yeah, but getting it done wasnt bad at all. and this is coming from a person that doesnt take pain well. I do know people that said they cried, but i think the most painful process was when it heals, or when u bump it. I sleep on my sides, so when i would lay my ear down it hurt really bad, or people would accidently bump it. the wost is if you get your hair done, like cut or styled, cause they always will comb it, and pull it... its a killer. I think it's definatly worth it, if you like it. Now i have little jewels for the ends, and it looks nice. i have had it for about 4 months now, and now i just talked my Mom into getting my bellybutton pierced.... so I'm happy about that. It's definatly worth it
