hi, im nikki and i just turned 18.(yyeesssss!!!)...lol. i first wanted my industrial when i saw it in a body mod. magazine. i was so facinated by it, it looked soo cool, and i decided that it was what i wanted! The day of my 18th b-day i went to my favorite piercing shop and asked about it. they explained it to me and i was ready to have it done then and there. I sat down after the explanation and equiptment set-up and waited. The lady marked my ear it two places. i looked at them and they looked great. then she got the needle and pierced the top one first. two seconds later she pierced the second one. i was sooo excited i couldnt wait to see it, so i looked in the mirror and the needle was still in both holes. She then placed the barbell through both pirercings and screwd the balls on. i was all done!!! yyeeaahhhh! i was so afraid it was going to hurt, but it didnt at all. it was fine and the next nite i was sleeping on it. a week from then i went back and did the other ear. that one was alot more sore then the first and took a little more attention. And just three days after my other industrial i went back and did both of my tragus's. i love the way the industrial looks and all the great comments!!! its so cool, so if u are considering doing it i would say it is well worth it!!! :]
