I got my labrette (chin) done about 6 weeks ago. I was debating
whether or not to get my tounge or labrette done. I decided not to get
my tounge because its getting to trendy, and i wanted to be
different.I wasn't going to get my chin at first because i heard it
was a turn off, but decided, WHO CARES?? So I went with my boyfriend
to a little place in downtown san francisco. The place really cool,and
they were really nice, and made me feel at ease. So i signed all the
fun paperwork, and payed the $65. They told me they were going to use
fishtail style jewerly instead of the disc back style because it
usually makes your gums jacked up, and i sure was glad they told me
cause that would have sucked!!! So they basically pulled my lip out
and stabbed it with a needle, (oh yea, they cleaned it first). It hurt
alot becuase I'm a pain wimp, but only for about 15min, and bleeded
quite a bit too. Eventually the pain went away, until I woke up the
next morning and it was a little sore, but that was about all the pain
i experienced. I really dig it now, i put spikes in it. My boyfriend
got a little annoyed that when we kiss it poked him, but he got used
to it, and its all good now! And yes...a labrette can be a turn on!!!
