Hi my name is Bridgitt and I'm from New Hampshire. Well, anyone who doesn't
know where this is...it's in the middle of nowhere. I was sick of being like
every other yuppie in my town so I decided to do something different. I was
only 15 so I tried persuading my Mom to let me get something pierced. That
didn't work out too well so I found something I could do myself. I could buy
all the supplies needed at a local store (Headlines). I started out with a
regular "gun" ear piercing and stretched it into an 8 gauge. I waited a
couple of weeks until I stretched it again and then I went to a 4 gauge.
After that I only went up one gauge a time. I was told to do this so I
wouldn't split my ear. After I got to a 00 I went to 1/2 inch from there. I
wouldn't have recommended that...it hurt but not tremendously and it split.
Now after about 4 months my ears have 1/2 inch amber plugs and they are
beautiful. Anyone who is looking for something unique to do then this is
it...and they look great!
