I don't really see what the big deal with everyone now days getting thier
ears stretched by someone else. Stretching was something done long ago
without the help of lube a tapers and the likes. As long as your safe,
clean, and know you body's limits, there's no reason you can't streatch your
self.
Yesterday I went from a self-done needle pierced 20g to an 8g. I picked
up 2 8g tapers from this place in the mall, i looked at them and figured it
shouldn't hurt that bad. When I got home I decided to do my left ear first
since I had just pierced my right ear earlier that day. I stuck the taper
into some lube, I used vasoline but there is much better I hear :), and
pushed the tip through, no problem. Then I got stuck about halfway, the
point where the taper jumped in size. I thought to myself 'If I don't do
this I look prettey dumb with half a taper in my ear,', so I just push. it
slid through suprisingly well. I had a little bit of burn in my ear for the
next few hours, but I kinda liked that feeling. Now, a day later, it barely
hurts. It's not red and I can spin it with almost no resistance. I plan on
doing the other ear in about a week...not sure how that'll go cause it's
fresh but I write in then...
