This is my story, on my addiction to Body Piercing, and the appreciation of
body modification :)
It "truly" started off when i was in grade 5 (i think i was about 10 or
so).. I got my left ear pierced, done with a gun... I was really nervous...I
do remember it quite well...
About 2 years after that, i got my 2nd ear piercing done in my left ear....
Wasn't too bad this time... By this time, I had a 14k gold hoop in my 1st
piercing...
it stopped there, untill I was 16 ... I got my right ear done ...No big
deal....But it started to spark an interest in me, which grew slowly..... I
got my tounge done at the end of that same year...God was I nervous..I did
alot of researching on body piercing places around town, and found a place
that was health inspected constantly, new needles/jewelry everytime, and the
piercer was very nice and professional........ It was uncomfortable at 1st,
with the large barbell to allow for swelling.. It swole up pretty bad - but
not as bad as some people's..... During my sleep one night, I tore it..JUST
as the swelling was going down....needless to say, it swole up alot, and
bled on and off for about 5 days, so I drank 2 shots of rum (straight), and
from there it never bled again....
about 10 months later, I wanted something new, and had my sites set on
getting a labret.... I liked the look, the jewlery, and thought it would
look good on me..(which it does ;>..I have yet to see a person that a labret
doesn't suit).... I got it done...and got a huge head rush off it, when the
needle went through... But, I dont regret it...It's well placed, and It is
still my favorite one of them all.... :)
shortly after that, i yearned for something new....this is where the
addiction kicked in...... So I got my nipple done... 14gauge captive
bead..... 3 DAYS LATER.... I got my septum done with a 14gauge circular
barbell...... and was thinking of what to get next.......
after 4 months of fighting with my nipple ring, i got a keloid scar beside
it, and my body rejected it...it just wouldn't heal .....so i took the ring
out :(...
6 months later, I got my eyebrow done....... Alot of people don't suit
eyebrow piercings I think...Unless there is another piercing close to it
(just my opinion ;>)...it healed really nicely.....
about 3 months later, my keloid scar on my nipple was just a slight mark,
the bump had gone away... so i got it repierced, this time using EMLA
numbing cream...BOY that makes a large difference (I recommend it)... about
a week after getting it repierced, the keloid got a small scab on it, which
fell off during cleaning....underneath it..NO SCAR!!!!....No mark... I
was/am happy ...
about 2 months later, i got my 2nd tounge piercing done....... There was
next to NO swelling (drinking slushees and freezies non stop after getting
it done..hehe)...but there was now 2 large barbells in my tounge to allow
for swelling (my piercer replaced my small one in my 1st percing with a
large one..... she kept my original barbell in a sterilized baggie for me,
and autoclaved it when i went to get both my piercings switched to
smaller)..... It was only 6 days before ALL the swelling went away in my
tounge, and got my small barbells in ...... it looks GREAT.....
last night (16/10/99) i bought 4 gauge curved ear tapers..... i am slowly
working them in.... but I am being patient.... i got them in a bit....i got
em poking through the back..but hurts alot if i try further... Anyone know
how to stretch ears with little pain?...lots of jewlery? weights?..mail

UPDATE
I got my tapers through..my ears are now at 4 gauge, and got 0 gauge tapers
coming in this week.
I got my right nipple done...so now i have EN in both nipples..lol
i also got my tragus done. It looks great, but right now, i am fighting a
keloid scar above it........
My piercer has now mentioed scarification, because i get keloids so easily
