For a few years, I have been hanging 2 get my naval pierced and finally I DID! I was meant 2 get it when I was away on holidays but my Mum convinced me 2 wait till we were home so that we could go back if there was any problems, which she was certain there would be! She hates them but she said that I could get it done as long as it had nothing 2 do with her. She still doesn't even know that I've got it!
So I went to the local Beauty Salon where they charged me $125 for the piercing, the ring, the healing solution, the bandages and the cleanser. I figured if I was gonna get it done, I may aswell make sure it's done right! So they marked where the hole was gonna be with a texta and clamped my stomach.
Now I'm not gonna lie, it did hurt! But no more that any sharp object being plunged into the human body! The sharp pain only lasted maximum of 3 seconds but after that it was fine. It's a bit tender but otherwise.....PERFECT! I really wanted a barbell but they were all out so I chose a ring with a ruby in it.
I'm happy and definitely don't regret it. My advice is, if your gonna get it done PAY THE MONEY AND GET IT DONE RIGHT coz it's worth it in the long run!
