I got my navel pierced as a birthday present to myself. It hurt as bad as
getting your ears pierced and was over just as quickly. I took the bandaid
off after because my skin is sensitive, and after about three days of
covering it with a cotton square, I just let it be. Clean it as often as you
play with it cause it will get all pussed up. Clean it really good in the
morning and if you wear tight-waist pants, to tuck a shirt in or a bandage
over it cause it will hurt for awhile. I have found that guys think it is
cute. You can start changing the rings around a month or two after, (I
changed mine after 2 1/2). Its fun to have different rings, just make sure
that they are the same gauge and clean them just as often and you clean your
navel. Enjoy!
