I just got my navel pierced a couple days ago. I have been wanting it for
about three months now and finally BOTH of my parents agreed to take me. We
went to a place called Piercology in Columbus, OH. It was very clean and
comfortable inside. I was pretty nervous because i read these experiences a
couple days prior and some of them say how bad it hurts or how horrible their
experience was. Well mine was very pleasant for all of you who also read the
above experiences. The guy that pierced me, Ed, was very nice and explained
everything in great detail. It was still nervous of course. Well he did the
cleaning, and sterilizing, and washing his hands and everything. Then he got
the clamps out. He put them on my belly button, i thought he was still
getting them ready and my belly button got pinched all of a sudden. I still
thought it was just him getting the clamps ready but he said "i just have to
put the other jewel on and you're done!" It stung for a second but wasn't
bad at all. About the same as getting your ears pierced, no lie. I stood up
and was a little shaky but after drinking some water i was fine! It's a
little sore sometimes when i bump it or something but it's great other than
that and i love it! All of my friends think it's sooo cute and they all want
theirs done now! It's worth it!
