I am 15 years old and i just got my navel done yesterday...Dec.29,2002 at Skin 'N' Bones in dallas, Tx. It was the coolest thing ever to happen to me. Heres the story. Well it took a long while to convince my parents to get it done. So finally thiz was one of my x-mas presents. and we went to the place and the piercer..(drew) he totally roxs. told us that we needed to get a release form NOTARIZED cuz i was a minor...so we went to go get it notartized and went back that same day bcuz they closed at modnight. so aroud 3 or so i was there to get it done. First i had to pee i was soo nervous. then my mom went in there wit me. she was sort of nervous too.my dad took pics:)..and i layed down so he could clean my navel. then i got up so he could draw a black dot where he was goin to pierce it.I was so nervous my legs were shaking. but then he just started talkin to me and stuff so i was a bit mroe relazed. i layed back down and he told me okay this iz just an akward pinch...which wasnt akward at all...i didnt even FEEL it. so i was cool. then he said okay take a deep breath..and be4 i was even done takin a breath he STUCK the needle through..i didnt FEEL a thing...it didnt HURT at all truthfully. and i go WOW r u done. he goes yes all i have to do iz screw the ball on.. i picked out a plain white gemed curved barbell...and i layed down for a minute or two...so i wouldnt faint or feel light-headed or ne*thing. then i got up looked at it and absolutely LOVED it. it doesnt hurt at all...and if u want to get it done GET IT. just make sure u go somewhere pro. and have ur parents go ne*wayz....itz an awesum exper.
