I've been wanting to get my navel pierced for 2 years now. I would ask but my mom would say no. My friend came from Poland, she asked once, and right away she was able to get it pierced. I got so mad so i kept complaining and thinking of excuses and finaly she let me do it (im 13 now). I was SO nervous. I HATE needles so much .. not the pain.. just needles. When i walked through the doors the the piercing/tatoo studio i felt so much better. The guy was so awsome .. he just kept talking and made me forget completely about the piercing. When we were going to start he told me that he would talk me through it. He made me stand up to mark the spot where he was going to pierce. Then he put on the clamp and told me to hold it so it wouldnt hurt. Then i lay down. When he was reaching for something and said it was the needle i was so scared so I told him to stop telling me what he was doing bcuz i didnt want to knoe. Sum41 came on the radio so i was trying to pay attention to the song. He told me how to breathe and i felt something around my navel (i obviously knew it was the needle, but it BARELY hurt!!) I thought the needle was out but my friend told me it was still in ... that was the only thing that scared me. Suddenly the piercer was like "Ur done!" I didn't feel him take the needle out or put the bar bell in.
AFTER THE PIERCING A few minutes later there was a little ring of blood and i kept wiping it off with a q-tip, but after a while i realized there was no point b cuz the blood kept coming back. Eventually it stopped bleeding and the blood wiped away somehow. Whenever i sit down, the barbell sticks out about 1 cm out of my body and im trying not to play with it or else itll never heal. The piercer said that when it heals it wont stick out like it does right now. Im going to do the salt water thing ( i forgot what it is but if u pierce ur naval ull get it). All in all the piercing was way easier than i expected.
