My name is Core,short for Correna five years ago I decided to have my navel
pierced. I consulted my tattooist and he reccomended I make an appointment
at a shop in Grand Rapids Mi. at the Amulet. So feeling secure with his
suggestion I made an appt. The shop was very clean and professional I felt
confident that this was going to be a good expirience. Everything went
well,within three deep breaths my navel was pierced. It appeared to look
fine as I gazed down at my belly. When I returned home I checked my new
piercing out in a full lenght mirror and realized my navel wasn't pierced
at all my stomache was. I was horrified,I called my tattoist who had
reccomended the shop and told him. He drove to my house to take a look.
Once he got there he ran to a drug store to pick up a bottle of betadine
and removed my ring. I then called the gal that had done my piercing and
told her what I had discovered. She suggested that I return in a week or so
to have it re-done.I did this time she put the forcepts on my navel befor I
laid back in the chair. This time she hit it right on. Or so I thaught,last
week I went to purchase a bent barbell to put through my navel. It went
through with no problem but it's crooked. Apparently she pierced my navel
but it's crooked. I am five years later I am still dissapointed
