Hi. My name is Megen. The first time I ever thought about getting pierced was
after I had taken one of my friends to get pierced. My friend Jocelyn got her
naval done at this tattoo place and she was scared to go alone for fear that
the "big, scary, biker-tattoo guys" would kidnap her or something like that.
So, I went with her and as she was picking out her jewlrey, I started to get
little ideas in my head. I went back with her and watched her get pierced and
after she got pierced I started talking to one of the guys there and he showed
me all of his piercings and told me that after you get one done that its like
an addiction and you always want another piercing. Then I asked him if it hurt
and he said " no, but if it does then the pain is well worth it" and started
telling me that he likes pain and at that point we left. After watching her
get pierced I wanted one too. Then to my luck a couple of days later another
friend of mine called me to go get pierced with her. By the time we got to the
place, LIsa decided to get her tounge done and I was going to get my navel
done. The guy layed me down on his chair and I started talking to him and I
didnt even realize he had pierced me, I had'nt felt a thing. But I got up and
watched my friends piercing and right after she was pierced I started feeling
really sick and light headed. The piercer ran and got me a pop and made me lay
down so he could put a wet rag on my head. After about 10 minutes I felt
better and left. I had a cute little ring put in, it was a silver 15 gauge
ring with a black star for the ball. But the star kept coming out so I had him
put in a green ball. And just last month I had a banana barbell that has a
titanium green ball at each end put in. I love my piercing and so does my
boyfriend. And I think that piercings are addictive because ever since i got
pierced I've wanted another piercing.
