I have been wanted to get my nipples pierced for two years now, but he thought of it scared me. I knew that the sensation would be incredible, but there was all that pain, and who, in their right mind would let anyone stick a needle there. Then all of a sudden I wanted to get them done. I need to tell you that I am 50. I wanted them done before my 50th birthday, but I missed.
I told no one that I was going. On Thrusday, I went to this place, and it was pretty glum in there. Smelled of insense and didn't look too clean. So, I asked questions instead. The piercer had rings sticking out all over the place, and I didn't like the look. I walked out, never to return.
Yesterday, I went to another place. It was much bigger, and much cleaner, the back room reminded me of a doctors office. The piercer was really nice. He was calm and patient. He asked me if I wanted both done. I said, well, we'll try one first and see how much pain it is. He told me it was a better idea not to get them done at the same time. Let the one heal for a few weeks, he said.
So, he pulled all the sterile instruments out of their packaging, and put on gloves. Then he said, ok, I need to mark you. I wasn't nervous at all. I asked him if he wanted me to removed my shirt and bra. He said, nope, just lift it up. He quickly marked it and I said ok, do it.
He put the clamp on and I didn't even feel it. I had been pinching my nipples for a few days in preparation of the pain, that I didn't feel. Then he told me to breath in and when I breathed out, he stuck the needle in. It felt like this hot pain, but it wasn't terrible. Then before I knew it the ring was in. I didn't get the other one done, taking his advice to return in a few weeks.
Last night, I hurt, a lot. I was to the point that I wanted to take it out, but I knew that would hurt, so I put on a tight fitting sports bra. That was the secret. The pain stopped, and I slept with the bra on. I had no pain.
Today, Saturday, I don't even feel it. Oh, it smarts if I hit it accidentally, but even cleaning it doesn't hurt if you do it gently. He told me to just wash with soap and water a few times a day. I can do that.
Already the sensation is amazing. I do not regret having it done at all. I can hardly wait for a couple of weeks to come, so I can get the right one done too.
If you are thinking about this, don't hesitate, if a 50 year old woman can do it, you youngsters can. Don't be afraid, just be confident with your piercer.
