I'm just so pleased with myself. I went & got my other nipple pierced today. I just turned 40 in July, & I felt...well...old. I'm a grandmother of an adorable 2 year old boy, and had just found out my daughter-in-law was pregnant again. I went through the usual fixes..day at the beauty shop, shopping at the mall, traded in my mini-van for a Mustang, etc. I wasn't ready for the drastic changes of cosmetic surgery & don't really feel the need for a face lift yet. But, nothing & I mean nothing felt as rejuvinating as getting my nipple pierced! My husband didn't want me to do it. He said piercing turned him off. I told him I didn't like motorcycles, but he bought himself a Harley-Davidson anyways, so I figured this was fair play.
The day after my birthday, right after my husband left for work that afternoon,my best friend & I went to the tattoo parlor. I had made the appointment a week earlier after looking around & checking out the cleanliness, sterility, knowledge & personality of the staff. Darryl, my piercer, asked me what type of music I liked & put it in the stereo to help me relax. He showed me the setup, explained how he was going to do the piercings, and did the measuring,marking & sizing. He then sat me in the chair, reclined it back and started the sterilzing of my nipples. I had scheduled both of them to be done. When he put the forceps on, I winced. My friend is laughing at me & sitting on the floor, holding my hand. I made the mistake of trying to watch him insert the needle. I took a deep breath as Darryl instructed, then as the pain & burning sensation increased, I SCREAMED! "Oh my GOD!" 3 times & my right leg came up in a kick as a reflex. I darn near broke my friend's hand. The pain was so excruciating, I said no way to getting the other nipple done. I left the shop a bit sore, excited and crying at the same time. The first piercing has been healing up quite well, & my husband and lover both like it.
Like I had mentioned before, hubby bought a bike, and as most men with new toys & obsessions, he read books & magazines about the subject. I read the magazines also so I can continue to have intelligent conversations with my spouse. Seeing the pics of the girls topless, and many of them with both nipples pierced, not just one made me rethink a bit more about mine. I had put it in the back of my mind the idea of getting the other one done. Somedays, I really wished I had just gone ahead & done it, others, I was ok with it plain. My lover was with me one afternoon & we were doing what we shouldn't have been doing. He remarked that he wished I had both done because of how sexy it looks. I was in the phase of wishing I had too. He solved the problem by calling & asking if we could do it as a walk in basis. Darryl had a tattoo cancel on him so he had plenty of time right now. So, silly me, along with my lover go to Darryl's & the whole time I'm telling loverman how badly I reacted to getting the first one done. He said he had a way to relax me for sure during the procedure. I had forgotten he had once been a paramedic a few years ago before getting injured & unable to do that type of work anymore. We went thru the whole deal like the first time, but this time, loverman is sitting on a footstool at my feet, with my legs underneath, & his legs wrapped aroung mine. No kicking this time! He is holding my hands, & talking about anything else but what is being done. He has me stare directly into his eyes when the forceps are put on, & when the needle is getting ready to go in, he has me take two big deep breaths & close my eyes. When I exhale the second breath, the pain & burning is getting intense, I'm squeezing loverman's hands in a vise grip, he tells me to take another deep breath, then, exhale & it's done. IT'S DONE!! I didn't scream, kick, or pass out! WOW! Oh this is beautiful! I love my "matched" set. I really am glad to have gotten it done. I know it may sound silly, but now I feel complete. I can't wait for it to heal so I can get larger size hoops put in. Loverman's starting to talk about genital piercings, but that's where I draw the line. No Way is anything going to interfere with great sex! I am worried that it will, so I refuse to get anything below the waist pierced. Hubby is home & has seen it and thanked lover for taking me to get it done. I haven't seen two men so turned on in a long time. I'm glad piercings are making a comeback and that the social taboos are almost gone. Of course I won't tell my father, but Mom will understand.
