Hey! I just got my tongue done two days ago....god, it is AWESOME! I was as nervous as humanly possible,. even though my best friend Meghan (who's had hers fro 16 months) said it wouldn't hurt. Now, understand, I'm not a chicken...I have had 14 earrings (11 of which remain), my eyebrow pierced (which DOES NOT HURT, it just stings a little) and a tattoo on my lower back (that hurt!). I was just nervous. So, I went to Lunasea on Thayer Street in Providence (Rhode Island) and made an appointment for 3:30 PM with Jef....the same guy who did my eyebrow. Meghan and I went in (she was my hand to hold) and I prepared for what I thought would be the worst experience of my life....it wasn't. The worst part was the Listerine for a full minute before the piercing. I winced a little because it was uncomfortable, but hey! I couldn't believe I did it! It's great now. I'm going ASAP to get a shorter bar (mine is WAY too big right now...I can hardly close my mouth) then to a colored one. If you want to do it, do it....the ruch is incredible!! ~*~~~*NICOLE*~~~*~
