Okay, as of yesterday it has been exactly a week since I got my tongue
pierced. I went to the place, and watched the guy take out a sterile needle
and shit..then after he marked my tongue, I just held onto my friends hand as
hard as I could expecting it to hurt like a bitch. I could definitely feel
it going through, but it wasn't a feeling of pain..it was just weird..and
then when he put the barbell in, I could feel that, and that kind of
hurt..but it was over so fast you barely have time to even think about what's
happening. Then I had to go wash my mouth out with listerine again and it
bled a little, but only for like a minute..and after we left I got a huge cup
of ice which was really hard to do anything with because I wasn't used to
having the tongue ring in my mouth... I took lots of advil that nig! ht and
next morning and my tongue never swelled..i figured i could eat the next
day..and i attempted soup, but i could only drink the broth..so for the next
couple days i ate lots of mushy/liquidy stuff and even though my tongue never
swelled it still was really sore and i had problems saying "s" words for a
while..haha. but, now i can chew solid foods and it doesn't hurt at all, but
the barbell is way to big for my tongue so i will probably go back to get it
switched..but i recommend anyone who wants one to go get it cuz they are
really fun..:P
