I got my Tragus pierced a little over a week ago. I had the 2 lobe piercings on each ear and one cartilage piercing. I'm the kind of person who is totally into originality and a Tragus piercing is pretty original. But being 15 I had to convince my mom to let me, and I did. I just said ya know, it's not perminate, like your tattoo, and I know it's probably going to hurt but it's my ear, and she decided to let me. So we found this professional place kind of close to our house and went there. It was $55, which is kind of a lot, but I got it pierced with a 16-gauge earing. Anyways so the guy sat me down on the chair, put a lot of sterilizing stuff on and then put like a little clamp thing on my Tragus. That didn't hurt at all. And then he said "ready" and I took a deep breath and said "yep." He stuck like a 2 inch needle in my ear and it took a while to get it all the way though. But it really didn't hurt at all. It probably took like 20 seconds to get it though. It really just felt like someone was pulling on my Tragus. Nothing big at all. When it got the needle all the way though he poked the back of my ear and that is the only part that bled. That day when I went home I could listen to my headphones, talk on that side of the phone, and sleep on the left side, no problem. I clean it 2 times a day, and it's doing really well. I'm definitely getting the other side done real soon. If youre thinking about it, don't wait anymore, go do it! And you get tons of compliments on it. It's really sweet.
