well i thought id add my tragus experience ... This past Wednesday (Feb
16th, 2000) i decided to go to a body piercing place to find out about
tragus and tongue piercings, i just wanted to get some general info before i
finalized any decisions. Well, i talked to the piercer, her name was Tiff,
she told me about both piercings and on a spur of the moment decision i got
my left tragus pierced.
after about 15 minutes of filling out paperwork and getting my drivers
license photocopied and my credit card checked to make sure it was mine, she
took me into this private room with a dentist like chair, she put on gloves
and layed out all these sterlized "things" on a table. she rubbed some stuff
on my tragus and got out a sharpie and marked it with a dot. then she got
out those clamps that everyone complains about, which id like to say didnt
bother me.. then next thing i know i had a needle pushed through my tragus
and then a CBR put in. it was totally painless and not even uncomfortable.. i
was expecting pain or at least a discomfort.. but nothing! she even gave me
the sharpie to keep, she only uses it on one person.
im going back tomorrow to get my right tragus pierced and then next monday im
going in to get my tongue pierced. thats the last one for me. im not big on
facial piercings, so im staying away from eyebrows and lips and such. but as
far as the tragus goes, definately do it if you want one! its so cute
looking! I get questionable looks from people all the time, and at least 5
times a day im getting "ouch does that hurt?" but its definately worth it!
