After having my ears pierced, tongue and navel pierced i wanted something different. I'd been thinking about getting my left tragus done for a while and one day one a spur of the moment decision I did it.
I went to the placed I got my other piercings done and chose a nice gold ring to put in my piercing. I was a little worried cause I had a few porblems with my navel healing but i wanted this one so much. I sat in the dentist-like chair and my piercer Jenni marked and sterilized my ear. By this stage I was so nervous but I wouldn't back out now because I was thinking about that little ring in my ear.
The clamp went on my ear and the needle came out. Jenni told me not to watch and I shut my eyes and OUCH! I had been told that the tragus doesn't hurt to much but my god that was the post painful piercing i ever had. Jenni put the ring in and I had a look and I Loved it! I felt a little faint afterward and had to sit down for a little while though. Walking out of the shop I felt on such a high cause I had gone through with it! And it looked so good. The tragus piercing was a little hard to clean at the back and it hurt quite a lot while cleaning. I got a little lump near the hole on the back and it went away though. I got so many comments like "didn't that hurt", but so many people thought it looked really good.
It was my favourite piercing and I had it done for almost a year but unfortunately I had to take it out cause it was just getting infected all the time and causing too much pain cause it was always accidentally getting hit. But I would not let my experience deter you from getting a tragus piercing.
