Well I've decided to add my little tragus experience.
My tragus is now four weeks old, I have my left one done. Here's
what happened...
It was the first day of the two week holidays and I decided that it
had been 3 years since my last piercing! (navel) I thought that it
was time to get something new. I looked around on the net and
decided that the tragus piercing was the one for me. Not many
people around where I live (Gold Coast, Aust.) have this and I
didn't want something that everyone else had. I got my Mum to
drive me (I'm only 16) down to "Borderline Tattoos" and told the
guy (Damien) what I wanted. He got us to do the paperwork thing
and then took me out the back. He showed me what he was doing
when he was preparing the "tools" and then he layed me down. He
marked my ear and asked if that was sweet, and it was. The next
thing I knew, I was clamped and he was putting the needle through
my left tragus. I then had a 16ga CBR put in and it was all done!
After four weeks it is going great. I love it and have had no
problems at all with it. At first I was cleaning it with body piercing
solution about four times a day but now I'm down to two,
sometimes three, times. Just for the record, it doesn't hurt that
much. In my opinion, my navel hurt more. But different people
have different levels of pain. Although, I think I have a pretty
damn high pain threshold (sp?) considering what happened with
my right daith piercing one week ago. *I'm writting that story
after this one, it's pretty damn interesting too*. Yeah, so any
