After getting two cartiledge piercings in each ear, I decided to get each tragus done. I wanted to get them one at a time in case they were painful to the touch afterwards because I sleep on my side. A couple of months after having decided to have this done, I was in Oklahoma City. There was one day of my visit I had some time to kill, so I headed down to 23rd Street Piercing, where I had a cartiledge piercing done a few months before. This is one of the most sterile looking piercing studios I have been in, which is obviously very comforting. I also trust them because neither one of my ears have fallen off since they pierced them. I walked in and up to the counter and told the lady I wanted get my right tragus done. She had me fill out the paper work and rebriefed me on aftercare since it was the same as the cartiledge.
I went back into the room. The piercer, whose name I am not sure I ever knew, made the sharpee dot on my tragus and asked if it was cool. I said sure lets go for it. He got out all his equipment and I laid down on the table and waited. He asked if I wanted him to count or to just do it. I told him just do it, and he did. It hurt, a lot, but I think the main reason was because I heard the needle go through. I got up, left a tip and walked out the door. The actual piercing process was the only time i felt any pain from it, except when I would snag it. It healed up beautifully and I am looking forward to having the left one done.
