After reading some of the experiences, I thought I would share mine. I
had been thinking about a genital piercing for quite awile andafter a
few months of research and asking tons of questions, I finally got up
the courage to do it. On a Saturday afternoon with two friends in tow I
went into the studio and layed down my money. I had decided on a
vertical hood andI was so nervous I was feeling sick to my stomach. I
took my place on the table, knees up and spread eagle. The piercer
swabed the area with cleaner and counted to three. Now, I expected this
to hurt but let me tell you I never expected it to hurt as badly as it
did. Now granted, it was only about 45 seconds of pain but they were the
worst 45 seconds of my life. I actually screamed out in pain and Im not
a wimp. I have other piercings and many tatoos.
After about 5 minutes I had regained my composure and was amazed to find
that there was no pain. It was a bit tender but nothing too horrible. I
even went out dancing that night. Its now going on 2 months and the only
problem I have found so far is that its a bit uncomfortable to wear
jeans or anything with a seam. It hasnt really done anything sexually
but it could be that I just havent played with it enough. In all I would
say it is a really great piercing, but dont be fooled, it hurts....
